Boys lacrosse equipment:

  • NOCSAE-approved helmet. No hockey helmets
     
  • Lacrosse shoulder pads, arm pads/arm guards, and gloves
     
  • Protective cup
  • Mouthguard
     
  • Cleats and socks
  • Lacrosse stick - The length of the short stick may be 37 to 40 inches for offensive players and the length of the longer stick for defensive players may be 37 to 72 inches.
  • Rib pads are strongly recommended for attack and midfield
